CCH01 Early Church Fathers (Turkey)

Set in Istanbul and Western Turkey, this course explores the period between the Apostles of the Christian faith and the early “Ecumenical Councils” of the church. The beauty and history of the Turkish Coast is explored, including some yachting on the Aegean.

CCH02 The Papacy and Feudal Power Struggles (Italy)

The program is designed to highlight the historical impact of the Papacy, and the influence of the church on Western art in areas like Venice, Rome, and Florence. The breathtaking beauty of Italy (and the food!) is part of this excellent program!

CCH03 The Reformers: Calvin, Luther, Zwingli (Austria, Germany, Switzerland)

A single program following major trends and people of the Reformation has been developed, highlighting the lives of Calvin, Luther and Zwingli. This program requires a minimum of 14 days of travel and study, and is best if offered in a 21-day segment.

CCH04 The Life of John Calvin (France, Switzerland)

From his birth in northern France and his early training in Paris, this course follows one of the most influential Reformers to Geneva, where he published the final edition of the Institutes.

CCH05 The Life of Martin Luther
(Germany, Czech Rep.)

With journeys in to many parts of Germany and two nights in Prague, this program offers highlights of Luther’s life and writings, as well as the beauty and magnificence of German countryside and the Rhine river basin. Normally offered in 14 days (including travel) this program combines the best of Germany with a serious historical program.

CCH06 The Life of John Knox (Scotland)

With a focus on mid sixteenth century England and Scotland, this is offered in the stunning landscape of the Scottish countryside. The program traces the life of Knox from his early training at St. Andrews in Edinburgh, to his final sermon at St. Giles in remembrance of the fallen of the French Protestants of the “St. Bartholomew’s Massacre.” A host of local guest lecturers are included.

CCH07 Wesley Revivals (UK)

The works of John and Charles Wesley created a movement that sparked a revival in many churches. This program is offered in ten, twelve and fourteen day lengths.
